I have
a very casual and relaxed approach to family photo-shoots. I try to allow time for your child and
I to get aquainted before the photoshoot begins. During the session, I do my very best to keep it fun
and interesting. With younger children, a session is very much like a play date
together - we may play games, sing songs, go on an adventure, or do other fun activities to
bring out their personalities. With older children, I may take them aside to get to
know them and their interests. Because I want to capture your child as they are, I don't use stiff, unnatural
poses or ask them to say "cheese", although I will guide and direct them to acheive
the shots we are looking for. I allow time for breaks, snacks/nursing,
and clothing changes during your session. Being a mother myself, I understand the importance of keeping everyone happy!
A typical session can last anywhere from one to three hours (sometimes longer if you have a newborn). I don’t
have a limit to the number of images that I take. I will capture as many images as I feel necessary to ensure a successful
session.
